Healthy Place Index

ONS Health Index aims to be inclusive in the concept of health, incorporating measurement not only of health outcomes, but also wider determinants but only goes as far as county level.

Community Needs Index

The Community Needs Index (CNI) gives a different perspective to more economically based measures of local need and is a useful measure in and of itself to help policymakers target investment in social infrastructure.

The index has been developed at ward level and covers 19 indicators, across three domains; Civic Assets, Connectedness and an Active and Engaged Community.

Insight Tool – Vulnerability Index

The British Red Cross COVID-19 vulnerability index at MSOA covers demographic, clinical, economic and social vulnerabilities as well as other health needs and geographic isolation.

Oxfordshire Community Foundation have made the Vulnerability Index accessible to all through their Local Insight tool.
