Oxfordshire School Games Badminton and Indoor Rowing County Finals

The Oxfordshire School Games Badminton and Indoor Rowing County Finals were held on Tuesday 9th February at White Horse Tennis and Leisure Centre in Abingdon.

The day was a great success, with some fantastic talent on display! A special thanks to Dan Hetherington from British Rowing and Sarah Winckless for supporting the Indoor Rowing competition and to Joe Manktelow and all of the Sports Leaders from Henry Box School for ensuring the Badminton competition ran smoothly.

Congratulations to Gillotts School for winning both the Years 7&8 and U15 Mixed Rowing competitions and to Our Lady's Abingdon, Didcot Girls School, Burford School and Oxford High School for placing first in the Badminton competitions and therefore qualifying for the South East Regional Round of the Badminton England National Schools Championships.
