Posted: Thu, 21 Apr 2016 11:41

The Yrs 7&8 Boys Basketball and Primary Key Steps Gymnastics competitions concluded the 2016 Oxfordshire School Games Spring County Finals.

Both competitions showcased some great talent and effort from schools across the County, with one team from each of the five School Games Organiser districts competing for the top spot in the basketball and nine teams looking to secure the highest score in the County for the gymnastics.

A special thanks to Radley College for hosting the basketball, Danny (Vale of White Horse School Games Organiser) for running the competition and those who stepped in to help referee the matches. Furthermore, thank you to Abingdon Gym club for hosting the gymnastics, Jenny for running the competition and Jenny's team for judging the Key Steps. We are also very grateful to the spectators that took time out of their day to come along and support the competitions.

We always welcome feedback and suggestions, therefore should you wish to please feel free to contact holliffe@oxspa.co.uk.

Congratulations to all of the medal winners, full results can be found on the County Final Results 2016 page. Keep up to date with the qualifiers from each district by taking a look at the County Final Qualifiers page.
