About

Welcome to the What works section. In this area of the website we will be publishing and highlighting insight & research; case studies and examples of good practise written by both ourselves and partners.

These will help and inform partners and practitioners to develop and expand strategies and programmes to decrease levels of physical inactivity.

This section is developed by theme, however if you can't find something do get in touch and we can point you in the right direction.

All of the information here is free to use and we positively encourage you to do so.

We also strongly encourage contributions from partners so please do send information and reports across.

Finally, if there is something that you feel is missing and should be developed then please do contact us directly.

Change 4 Life

Change 4 Life

These days, 'modern life' can mean that we're a lot less active. With so many opportunities to watch TV or play computer games, and with so much convenience and fast food available, we don't move about as much, or eat as well as we used to.

WHAT IS SUGAR SMART?

SUGAR SMART is a campaign run by Sustain. We help local authorities, organisations, workplaces and individuals to reduce the amount of sugar we all consume.

Anyone can pledge to become SUGAR SMART – from councils and schools to restaurants, hospitals and independent companies.
